GEC Jobs
1. First step is online registration on www.czech-us.cz. You do not have a VISA and you do not have enough time to search for an employer? Not a problem! You choose an employer form GEC list (based on your preferences) with a housing guaranteed and a minimum wage of 7 USD/hour. If you are interested in securing the program, scroll for the option 'W&T - GEC Jobs'. After the registration you will get login information to your Client Account on our web pages.
2. If your are interested in one of GEC employers, just send us your CV (template) and scanned photo to our e-mail account (info@czech-us.cz). Then one of our operators will contact you and make an interview with you. If you would make good during the interview, you may start filling out GEC Online Application - GEC Register. You will fill out the application, upload required documents and submit it for review. We will review it and submit the application further to GEC.
Most of the application documents are needed just in the electronic form except University Letter (Proof of Student Status in English language), which you will send to our address or which you will deliver in person to our office during regular office hours.
4. You will download the contract of assistance with W&T USA program, which you will fill out, print out and sign in two originals and send to our mailing address or which you can deliver in person to our office. You will then receive one original back signed by us.
5. Once the initial administration procedure is finished your application will be sent to GEC for revision and processing. Afterwards an invoice for GEC program fee will be delivered to each approved participant with a 14 day payment due date with the appropriate account information.
Notice: GEC won't issue the DS-2019 form (essential for visa application at the US Embassy) until the payment is received in full.
6. GEC will approve the employer you have previously selected and will send you a Job Offer. At the same time you will receive an upfront invoice from us with 14 days for payment due date. Payment should be accompanied with a variable symbol as invoice number.
7. In your Client Account you will choose one date of the mandatory Pre-departure orientation (mandatory for first-time W&T participants).
8. You will attend the Pre-departure Orientation.
9. Next step is a Flight reservation to where the particular employer secures pick up or to the employer office location. After the reservation you will fill out the flight information and roomate request thus the employer is able to arrange pick up and corresponding apartment distribution. Meanwhile you will enter your flight information into your Online Application account.
10. Via mail or in person in our office you will receive your DS-2019 form, essential part of your visa application at the US Embassy and SEVIS receipt.
11. Once you have received your DS-2019 form you will pay a visit to the US Embassy website, where you will fill out electronic version of DS-156 and print it out in maximum quality together with generated barcode. Then with the barcode number you will register your appointment at the embassy. Afterwards you will remunerate US Embassy fee and courier fee and will attend the appointment on the particular date.
12. In couple of days (2-3 business days) following the appointment you will receive your passport back with the visa via courier service you previously paid for. You will check all data of the visa!!
13. You are flying over to USA.
14. You are travelling to your employer. You will arrive to your employers office, fill out required immigration and tax documents and accommodate yourself...
15. You will validate your status in the SEVIS within 7 days after your arrival to USA. Not conforming to this regulation may lead to your visa termination.

Aditional notice:
- each payment shall be accompanied by a proof of payment.
- our communication starts with your registration in the program and ends up after your departure back from USA by filling out on-line form Report of return for CCS and US Embassy.
- to be eligible for lower fees the payment must be remitted by the particular deadline.
