ACES program - Got a camp

This program option is designed for those Camp program participants who found themselves camp in USA (their employer for the summer). They know their work position, work conditions including final stipend and negotiated the provisions of their job aggreement. Camp placement is to be secured minimum of 6 weeks prior program start date.

Program fee for Camp Counselor - 435 USD
Program fee for Support Staff - 485 USD.

ACES provides for you:

issuance of the DS-2019 form and J-1 Visa
experienced staff to help you with the application, placement and the US VISA process
24-hour contacts both in the US and your home country
health, liability and baggage insurance for the lenght of the program
Sevis fee 35 USD
staff handbook

ACES fee does not include:

costs of Lifeguard Training for Lifeguard positions - as in Price list of Courses
cost of visa application at the US embassy 131USD

***ACES basic Insurance conditions - secured by Insurance company Global Secutive, LLC:

A. Illness or accident: limit is - unlimited
B. Dental care - max. 200 USD (we recommend to pay a visit to the dentist prior departure!!!)
C. Transport and repatriation
   1.Transport to the hospital - 100%
   2.Transport to home country - 100%
D. Third party liability:
   1. Personal injury - max. 500.000 EUR
   2. Property damage - max. 500.000 EUR
E. Baggage lost, damage to personal property - 1500 EUR

Insurance does not cover the participant while driving a motorized vehicle. Insurance conditions may be subject to change by Global Secutive. Minimum deductible 250USD.

Step by step for this program option

1. First step is online registration on our webpage with selecting 'Camp in USA'. Afterwards you will receive your account login information.

2. Right after we receive your registration with contact information you will fill in the online program application and camp usa program assistance agreement. Then you can start filling out the ACES application with the help of application guide.

3. Once you are finished with the application you will participate on the first Orientation meeting - Interview with us and deliver all program materials. After successfully completed Interview you will receive an upfront invoice from us. During the interview we will collect Czech-us and ACES program fee.

4. ACES will process your application. After successfully passing the screening, you are asked to sign an Agreement with ACES. You will be asked to send ACES your camp contact information and Job agreement you have signed with your camp. Once the initial administration procedure is finished and invoice is remitted your application will be sent to ACES for revission and processing. Placement to your US summer camp is usually done prior May 15th.

5. You will attend Pre-departure orientation with the Czech-us representatives. Pre-departure serves for better understanding of the American culture, habits, lifestyle, culture shock, financial responsibility of the participant, problem solving...

6. Next step is a Flight reservation to the nearest airport (according to airport code) of your US Camp.

7. Via mail or in person in our office you will receive your DS-2019 form - essential part of your visa application at the US Embassy.

8. Once you have received your DS-2019 form you will pay a visit to the US Embassy website, where you will fill out electronic version of DS-156 and print it out in maximum quality together with generated barcode. Then with the barcode number you will register your appointment at the embassy. Afterwards you will remunerate US Embassy fee and courier fee and will attend the appointment on the particular date. In couple of days (2-3 business days) following the appointment you will receive your passport back with the visa via courier service you previously paid for. You will check all data of the visa and in case of some error you will contact US Embassy and us without any delay.

9. You are flying over to USA. We recommend you to contact them or Camp representative couple of hours before in order to update the arrival information so pick up from the airport is arranged.

10. You are meeting with your Camp director, other camp staff and camp patrons.

11. You will validate your status in the SEVIS within 7 days after your arrival to USA. Not conforming to this regulation may lead to your visa termination.

Czech-US lifeguard Program - important change !!!

All spots in US lifeguard program were filled. Enormous number of applications was received. We are negotiating possible increase in number of positions offered for summer 2010. Registered clients will be added to a queue.

We had to closed the program Work and Travel CCI Jobs for season 2010 due to the filling capacity of this program. As a substitute we can offer GEC Jobs.
